Website & Conversion Optimisation
Website & Conversion Optimisation
Kite helps UK businesses improve the journey from a website visit to a useful enquiry. We diagnose gaps in messaging, navigation, performance and forms, then implement practical changes around the commercial objective.
The commercial problem
People can find your website and leave without understanding the offer or knowing what to do next. Important services are hard to locate, pages load slowly, forms are difficult to complete or the site does not work well on a phone.
The result is demand lost between the visit and the enquiry. Before rebuilding a site or buying more traffic, it is useful to establish which parts of that journey are causing the problem.
Kite's approach
We review the website against the questions a buyer needs answered and the actions the business wants them to take. We inspect key pages, mobile layouts, navigation, forms and performance, using existing analytics where available.
We then implement the agreed priorities. Work can include clearer page copy, dedicated service or landing pages, better internal links, simpler calls to action, form improvements and technical performance fixes. Accessibility and crawl access are considered as part of making the site usable.
We preserve useful branding and design. A wider rebuild is considered only where the current site prevents the agreed improvements. The enquiry route is connected to whoever needs to respond after submission.
How we review the website
We walk through the main buyer journeys on desktop and mobile, check the service information and test links, forms and contact routes. We review crawlable pages, technical performance and accessibility issues that affect those journeys.
Where reliable analytics are available, we compare those findings with visitor behaviour and enquiry actions. We agree a set of page and technical changes, then check the affected journeys again. A form reaching its destination is tested separately from whether its enquiries are suitable.
Who this is for
- Businesses whose website receives relevant visits but produces too few suitable enquiries.
- Teams with service information that is difficult to find or understand.
- Businesses sending campaign traffic to pages that do not explain the relevant offer.
- Founders who need practical improvements to an existing website rather than an assumed redesign.
What you receive
- A review of key visitor journeys, messaging, mobile usability, forms and technical performance.
- A prioritised list of issues and agreed changes connected to an enquiry objective.
- The agreed page, navigation, form and performance improvements.
- Checks on relevant page layouts, links, forms and crawlable content, with limitations recorded.
- A handover explaining what changed and how to maintain it.
- A measurement plan for relevant enquiry actions and conversion, using available data and consent settings.
What helps us start
- The pages and enquiry actions that matter to your buyers.
- Known website or form problems, and the current hosting and website source where implementation is required.
- Available analytics and search information. We agree how to test forms and confirm delivery before changing a live enquiry journey.
How we assess progress
We establish which visitor actions matter and whether they can be measured reliably. These may include form completions, calls, bookings and the quality of the resulting enquiries. We review performance and usability alongside those outcomes.
Where there is enough suitable traffic, a comparison or controlled test can help assess a change. Smaller sites may need a longer observation period. We report what the data supports and record changes in traffic or audience that affect the comparison.
Questions
Will you change our branding?
We start by preserving your existing identity and useful design. Changes focus on the commercial problem and are agreed as part of the scope.
Do we need to rebuild the website?
Not always. Clearer service pages, improved navigation or a simpler enquiry form may address the main issue. We diagnose the site before recommending a rebuild.
Does this include what happens after an enquiry?
We check that enquiries reach the right place. Where response and follow-up are the main constraint, Kite's Sales & Enquiry Conversion service addresses the process after the enquiry arrives.
